National Volunteer Week is a reminder that even the smallest act of giving back can make a huge difference.
Whether it’s helping out at a local sports club, cooking meals for people doing it tough, supporting a community garden, checking in on neighbours or volunteering at your child’s school, there’s so many ways to get involved.
Volunteering is good for communities in need, but it’s also really good for the soul. It gives people purpose, builds friendships and strengthens the connections that turn neighbourhoods into communities.
