Mr BRENDAN MOYLAN ( Northern Tablelands )—I recognise the Guyra community of celebrating the 40th anniversary of the annual Lamb and Potato Festival. The event honours two of Guyra's most iconic local industries, whilst putting Guyra firmly on the map, drawing visitors from across NSW and beyond. I congratulate all those behind this event, pulling together a raft of cuisine, stalls, activities, demonstrations, exhibitions, displays and entertainment, and includes a special dinner in honour of the special anniversary. I thank past and present committee members, including current members: Steve Mepham, Julie Gittoes, Chris Bell, Deborah Little, Mark Werts, Ian Russell, Jim O'Neill, Betty Sheelah and patron Gladys Wilson. The festival is a gift that keeps on giving, with funds raised being distributed to local groups and organisations, as well as providing funding to grassroot initiatives and boosting the local economy. I commend all involved in the success and longevity of the festival, who have volunteered their time and support generously, taking the opportunity to give back to others and their community, whilst ensuring this event continues to showcase the region's great agricultural strengths.
