Drama NSW

The Hon. JACQUI MUNRO ( 10:10 :44 ): I move:

(1)That this House notes that:

(a)on 31 October 2025 Drama NSW hosted its 2026 Program Launch at Ariomi The Space in St Peters; and

(b)the event celebrated and brought together fellow artists, educators, industry professionals and theatre enthusiasts to unveil Drama NSW's dynamic line-up for the year ahead.

(2)That this House recognises that Drama NSW, as an official, professional body, has done a marvellous job in representing and supporting drama teachers across New South Wales, including through their professional learning program, syllabus guidance sessions and workshops like Drama in the Digital Age.

(3)That this House celebrates Drama NSW for promoting drama in education as valuable, encouraging the study and development of drama and assisting teachers, students and others interested in drama.

(4)That this House commends the Drama NSW committee for their incredible work across New South Wales, including:

(a)president, Kelly Young;

(b)vice presidents for professional learning, Timothy Martin and Bro Reveleigh;

(c)vice president for communications, Najee Tannous;

(d)vice president for business and finance, Alyssha Clarke; and

(e)vice president Drama Australia liaison officer, Amy Gill.

(5)That this House further notes the attendance of the Hon. Jacqui Munro, shadow Assistant Minister for the Arts, Innovation, Digital Government and the 24-Hour Economy at the 2026 launch event.
