The DEPUTY SPEAKER ( Ms Claydon ) (16:13): The Speaker has received advice from the honourable Prime Minister nominating members to be members of the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Defence.

Mr BURKE (Watson—Minister for the Arts, Minister for Home Affairs, Minister for Cyber Security, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship and Leader of the House) (16:13): by leave—I move:

That, in accordance with the provisions of the Defence Act 1903, Mr Burnell, Mr Chester, Ms Mascarenhas, Ms Swanson, Ms Templeman, Mr Thompson, Mr Wallace and Mr Zappia be appointed members of the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Defence.
