Mr TRI VO ( Cabramatta )—On 15 February 2026, I had a wonderful time in Chinatown with the Premier of NSW, Chris Minns, and a number of my NSW Parliamentary colleagues. We had our walk through Haymarket to commence the celebrations of the Lunar New Year 2026. The atmosphere was vibrant with colourful lunar new year decorations, and the strong sense of community that makes this celebration so special. It started with the lion dances, and then the walk and greetings with many people filled with joy and excitement. It was fantastic to see so many families, local businesses, and community groups coming out to celebrate the occasion. Events like these highlight the rich cultural diversity that makes our community including in my Electorate of Cabramatta so unique. It also reminds us of the importance of culture, heritage, and community connections across New South Wales. Thank you to everyone who helped organise and coordinate such a joyful celebration, and to those who came out to share in the celebrations.
