A respected Sydney‑based general practitioner for more than 35 years, Dr Loo is renowned for her compassion, fairness, and deep commitment to addressing the health impacts of climate change. As NSW Chair of Doctors for the Environment Australia, she has championed policies for clean air, water, and sustainable communities, and inspired health professionals to advocate for environmental action. Dr Loo's advocacy extends from medical politics to grassroots engagement, working with local councils, community groups, and policymakers to improve urban liveability, reduce pollution, and protect vulnerable populations. Her leadership emphasises that healthcare is not only about treating illness, but also about creating healthier environments and safeguarding the wellbeing of future generations.
