𝗛𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗸𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁… 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗶𝘁. Tomorrow on Wally’s World, I sit down with Phillip Thompson OAM MP for one of the most honest and powerful conversations we’ve had yet. We talk about the moment Phil was thrown out of Parliament House over his fight for veterans, why he refused to back down, and the real impact these decisions are having on former servicemen and women. But we also go much deeper than politics. Phil opens up about his time as an infantry soldier in Afghanistan, the day he was wounded in an IED explosion, the battles that followed when he returned home, and the long road from the battlefield to Federal Parliament. This is raw, emotional and at times confronting, but it’s also a story about resilience, purpose and service. 🎙️ Wally’s World -...

LABOR LIES: Over the past week, I’ve been contacted by hundreds of veterans & families distraught about the impact of Anthony Albanese’s budget on those who have already sacrificed so much for this country. Julian Hill MP, calling my stance a “stunt” is disgraceful. I’ve buried too many mates who survived war overseas, only to lose their battle within here at home. I will not be lectured to on a reality you will never understand.

After 125 years of service Anthony Albanese’s Labor Government has scrapped funding for the The Salvation Army’s Sallyman program. Whether out in the field, on operations or back home, our service members trust the Sallymen for support, pastoral care, and a listening ear.

LABOR LIES: Today I was suspended from Parliament for 24 hours after refusing to withdraw my comment calling Albanese a liar. Capping veterans’ health support at $5,000 has nothing to do with the Royal Commission recommendations. This cruel cap will leave veterans without the critical health support they need. Shame on you Anthony Albanese.

REST IN PEACE BROTHER: Today, Australia mourns the loss of an extremely experienced Special Air Service Regiment warrior, Warrant Office Class Two Lachlan Muddle. Our ADF personnel accept extraordinary risks in service of the nation, including the possibility of making the ultimate sacrifice in battle and in training. My thoughts and love is with Warrant Officer Class Two Muddle’s family, friends and the wider Defence community.
