It’s a source of pride that for nearly 30yrs, Mount Druitt residents have organised and held an annual Reconciliation Walk. Especially important for an area with one of the biggest Aboriginal urban communities in the nation - and many who were part of the Stolen Generation. Proud to stand with locals, Elders and leaders as we walk together as one in the spirit of unity and with the courage to talk about the value of truth telling. Big thanks to everyone who helped bring this special day to life, particularly the volunteers who form the backbone of the Mount Druitt and District Reconciliation Group.
