Rather than ‘commenting on the Ditch the Witch’ campaign, the Herald Sun could just directly call it out as disgraceful, demeaning and disgusting and go after whoever is responsible. This sort of political discourse is not who we have been as a country and society, and takes us down a dark and dangerous path also. The racist bots and right wing funny money that are flooding social media do not reflect the decency of most Australians.
