Kristy was born in 1982 in Traralgon, Victoria. She grew up on the NSW Far South Coast where her family ran a sporting goods store. She attended Eden Marine High School.

Kristy graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) and a Bachelor of Laws. She worked as a pharmacy assistant, as a waitress and as a library assistant during her studies before entering the law as a paralegal in 2004. Caught up with the Goulburn Greyhound Club to hear about their plans to extend the Grace-Millsom Centre at the Goulburn Recreation Area. The Recreation Area is a fantastic facility in Goulburn used by local user groups for a heap of public events that boosts tourism and brings economic, and social benefits to Goulburn. ROTARY CLUB OF COOMA CHANGEOVER DINNER ⭐ It was a pleasure to attend this year's Rotary Club of Cooma changeover dinner. Thank you for the role you continue to play in maintaining our sense of community. Your efforts running the monthly Rotary Markets and keeping Centennial Park looking great are very much appreciated.
