Agriculture

Happy Centenary Millewa! 100 years of farming life and community connection with many returning to their roots this weekend from interstate and even overseas. Farming in the Millewa has not been for the faint hearted but certainly has taught resilience to farmers here. No til farming has meant we no longer have dust storm after dust storm, they are more a rarity than a pattern now. This is a place where stories and skills are passed on from generation to generation. Thank you to Ron Hards and the committee for the invitation. Great to meet Jim Douglas, 97 yrs young. #agriculture #agriculturelife #mildura
